ABOUT
My deepest longing as a man of faith is to be attentive to the still, small voice of God in my life and to help others do the same. Being devoted to listening and responding to the whisper of the Holy is the source of all peace, harmony, and meaning in life. Grounded in this conviction, I fully embrace my vows as a member in stability of Voluntas Dei (Desire of God) Institute. Like Mary of the Annunciation, our members strive to listen and respond to the indwelling voice of God. Mary’s fiat “yes” to God is the model of all human fulfillment.
I bring over 30 years of experience to the healing ministry. As a priest who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I integrate evidence-based interventions, contemplative methods, and a profound respect for the dignity of every human person into every part of my practice. I respectfully and gently hold each person’s story in a therapeutic relationship guided by sound Ignatian principles, contemplative psychotherapy, and I engage the richness of the Christian spiritual tradition into my pastoral counseling practice.

SERVING:

A MESSAGE FROM FATHER TIMOTHY
One thing that we learn from St. Ignatius of Loyola is that we can change. That God created us to be human beings who are fully alive, dynamic, and free. So often, we enslave ourselves by resisting God’s grace and choose those things that rob us of the opportunity to be our best selves. My therapeutic approach is to walk with you on a path toward freedom. By paying close attention to the movements of consolation and desolation in your life we allow God’s grace to move you toward a spiritually rich and meaningful life.
My mission is to celebrate the sacred in every human life. In order to walk with you on the path to freedom I engage the best in the Christian theological tradition, positive understanding of the human person, evidence-based interventions in clinical social work practice, and the profound wisdom discovered in Catholic mysticism. When you are ready, I am eager to walk with you on this path of awakening in body, mind, and spirit.
